The National Youth Wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has stated that the Ghanaian youth cannot afford to be mere spectators to the erosion of their future.
In a press release ahead of the Occupy Bank of Ghana #OccupyBoG demonstration on Tuesday, the National Youth Organizer for the NDC, George Opare Addo said the protest is not a merely an event rather it is a battle cry for every young Ghanaian.
“In these treacherous times, as our people bear the brunt, the head of the Bank of Ghana audaciously pursues a 350 million dollar facility under the facade of a ‘befitting edifice.’ Let it be known: we, the youth of Ghana, will not stand idle as our country is shackled by the reckless squandering of public funds.
“This protest is not a choice; it is a demand, an unmissable opportunity to thunder against the injustice! Tomorrow is not just another day; it is a rendezvous with destiny. To the young warriors of change, I declare: the era of complacency is over!” Mr. Opare Addo stated.
He continued: “We cannot afford to be mere spectators to the erosion of our future. This is our moment to rise, united and unyielding, against the torrents of economic upheaval threatening to submerge our dreams.”
