A video circulating on social media shows a young man dressed in a black police uniform being apprehended by two burly policemen.
This individual is believed to be an imposter and was met with jeers and shouts from some Assin North residents as he was escorted away by the police.
In another development, a military imposter was also taken into custody with weapons in his possession.
The security forces acted on a tip-off about his suspicious behavior during the voting process in Assin North.
Despite these incidents, the Ghana Police Service has assured the people of Assin North that they will receive unwavering security and protection throughout the by-election.
