Richmond Afrane, Director and producer of Oyerepa TV series, ‘Boafo Ye Na’ has been adjuged ‘best director of the year in the just ended 2023 Ashanti legendary awards (ALA).
Richmond won the award with his ‘Boafo Ye Na’ TV series shown on Oyerapa TV.
After receiving the award, Richmond expressed appreciation to the organisers of Ashanti Legendary Awards for honoring him.
He also eulogised colleagues and friends who helped him to achieve the great award.
Richmond Afrane has won some kumawood awards to his credit.
The Kumawood movie director has directed films such; dangerous mission, red label and evil heart. Apart from Ghana, his movies has been accepted in African countries like Liberia and Nigeria.
