A young businessman, Tony who deals in mobile phones has been dupped by his wife, a police officer after spending a whooping sum of GHc120,000 on their wedding.
According to him, his wife, Belinda Asantewaa, a police officer at Cape Coast -Bakano Police station has given their newborn baby to another man, who she claims is the real father.
Narrating his sad story on Oyerepa Afutuo, Thursday, Tony revealed that, he met his wife, Belinda in SHS.
He decided to marry her after school so he took care of Belinda. After she completed SHS, he sent her to Komenda Training College. A year, later, he bought police forms because his wife’s main aim was to become a police officer. Fortunately, she was recruited. And after passing out, they got married.
Tony, disclosed that he spent GHc120,000 on their wedding.
“I spent a total amount of GHc120,000 on our wedding.”
He further revealed that, before the wedding, Belinda informed him that, she was pregnant. But after giving birth to a boy he named Listowel Twumasi Ankara, his wife and mother-in-law also named the baby, Michael Tibu Korankye.
“I named my son Listowel Twumasi Ankara and she also named him, Michael Tibu Korankye,”
Tony said, his wife (police officer) told him point blank that, he isn’t the father of the baby. A married man who is a customs officer is the real father of the child.
“Before our marriage, Belinda told me she was pregnant. When she gave birth, she came back to me and said the baby belongs to another man. So I went to her mother and she also conveyed to me that, the baby belongs to another man, a customs officer who has a big position so I shouldn’t talk about it else his marriage will collapse.”
Tony further recounted, “My mother-in-law asked me to make an estimate of how much I spent on our wedding for the man to pay, which, I did. But his father George Ankomah, a police commander said his son can’t pay that huge amount of money.”
“For over 4 months now, no one has called me to pay the money.” Tony expressed.
He disclosed again that Belinda has threatened to kill him if he continued to ask for the money.
“Belinda has threatened to kill me. She gave my number to her friends (police officers) to shoot and kill me should I come to her post at Cape Coast. Fortunately, her friends called me, and informed me about her plans to eliminate me.”
“I don’t have anyone to help me, the reason I’m here,” Tony said.
