A famous Oyerepa TV and Radio Newscaster has been duped by an amputee known only as Attah.
The Amputee on Friday, April 15, 2023, brought his case to Auntie Naa, host of Oyerepa Afutuo and said his pastor had swindled him of an amount of GHc3000. He pleaded that the show’s crew should assist in retrieving his hard-earned money.
During the show, journalist the Oyerepa News anchor, Piesie Lardi on the other hand called Auntie Naa and disclosed that Attah has also defrauded her 12 years ago.
Piesie Lardi emphasized that she paid Ghc 3000 to Attah for a plot of land at Abuakwa in 2011.
The well-known journalist recalled that she even purchased three trips of sand and stones to begin building a house, but a third party showed up and took possession of the plot.
Piesie revealed that she tried numerous times to retrieve her money from Attah, but he turned her down.
“Atta has cheated a lot of people. He sold a stolen plot of land to me in 2011 at a cost of GHC3000. When I went there, a woman came to me and claimed that the land belonged to her, and I eventually lost the land. Atta has refused to refund my money since 2011.”
Attah, on the other hand, admitted to scamming the Oyerepa staff and tried to convince Auntie Naa to intervene on his behalf.
Despite his plea, Attah is expected to face criminal charges for his intentional and scandalous act.
