Former Deputy Minister of Defense and Former Member of Parliament for Nkoransah North, Major Retired Derrick Oduro has said that there is absolutely nothing wrong with statements made by the newly appointed Agric Minister Brian Acheampong.
His assertion follows a comment made by Brian Acheampong that the NPP party will use whatever means to remain in power in the 2024 general election.
Adding that if the NDC dares to use threats, and other forces in the 2024 election, the NPP will show them that they have the men.
Addressing the supporters of the party after a unity walk at Mpraeso, he stated that they will not hand over power to the opposition NDC party in the 2024 elections, they’ll make sure NPP remains in government at all cost.
The Former Deputy Defense Minister speaking in an interview with Nana Yaw Mensah Joel on Oyerepa Breakfast Show stated that worst things than this have been said before and nothing happened.
“We have not yet voted and you have started complaining, about a statement made by Brian Acheampong… this is childish” he stated.
“Ghana is yet to experience the worst of such comments from all the political parties”. Major Retired Derrick Oduro stated.
