Action People’s Party (APP) has cut the sod for the construction of an ICT centre at Nkawie Panin M/A JHS in the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
Mr. Kenneth Nana Kwame Asamoah, the Founder and Leader of the APP, stated at the sod-cutting ceremony on Monday, February 27, 2023, that the party is prepared to provide ICT education to kids between the ages of 4 and 18.
He said that the “Agenda 275” ICT Center project will include a library and other cutting-edge tools for high-quality instruction.
Mr. Ernest Atta Gyamfi, who represented the municipal education director, praised the APP and its founder for their dedication to education.
He said that the ICT centre will aid in enhancing one of the curriculum’s competencies, digital literacy.
“This project will broaden the students’ understanding of ICT so they can keep up with global concerns. Mr Gyamfi said.
Speaking on behalf of the Chief of Nkawie Panin, Nana Kofi Asante, Chief Liguist, commended Mr. Kenneth Nana Kwame for helping his community while encouraging others in the diaspora to follow in his footsteps.
Nana Kofi Asante prayed for God’s blessings, noting that other powerful political parties had not been able to do what he and his party had done.
The Assemblyman for the area, Alexander Baffour Awuah, also praised the party’s founder and leader for giving back to his homeland; said the ICT centre would benefit the community.
