Managers of Asutifi South National Youth Authority (NYA) in the Ahafo Region have begun sensitizing Senior High School (SHS) students in the District on career guidance to help them have better and secured futures.
Speaking in an interview with the NYA District Director, Roger Obeng Agyekum after engaging students of Hwidiem Senior High School on career guidance, he explained that the NYA had realized that many students do not know much about the efforts they need to put in place for them to have better future, regard to their courses been studied in schools, therefore the NYA thought it wise to give them adequate education.
According to him, the various presentations by resource people and the questions asked by students at the event obviously tell that the topic “Career Guidance ” has been fruitful.
Meanwhile, the NYA Ahafo Regional Director, Owusu Boateng who graced the seminar commended the managers of Asutifi South NYA for engaging students on the said topic.
He said the NYA will visit all schools in the region to engage them on relevant issues to prepare them well for the future.
