A woman believed to be in her late 40s has been found dead in a hotel room at Akumadan in the Offinso Municipality of the Ashanti region.
The sad incident said happened about a week ago.
Information gathered by Oyerepa News’ Dominic Duut indicated that the deceased, Fati Issah, went to the Afrifa Hotel at Akumadan with one gentleman, whose name was not captured in the hotel attendance book.
The next day, Fati was found lifeless and naked on bed.
According to the source, the unidentified man gave the excuse that he was going out to buy something when the hotel receptionist asked him about the woman he came with.
The body has since been deposited at the Nkenkaasu government hospital mortuary for autopsy, and Police has commenced an investigation into the matter.
