A 44-year-old woman, a Gold dealer known as sister Afia Gifty has been killed at Ahansoyewodea in the Obuasi Municipal of the Ashanti Region.
The incident happened few days ago.
The Gold dealer according to reports is said to have been murdered by her personal driver called Nana.
A close friend of the deceased, Auntie Mercy, speaking with Oyerepa Online disclosed that, the driver allegly killed and dumped Afia Gifty by the road side near Ahansoyewodea, a suburb of Obuasi.
After killing the woman, the suspected murderer, Nana (driver) went to the home of the deceased, stole some gold and bolted with millions of Ghana cedis.
The suspect was consequently arrested by the Obuasi police and put before court today.
The dead body on the other hand has been deposited at the Obuasi government hospital morgue.
