Spokesperson for Ministry of Education, Akwasi Kwarteng has disclosed that Senior High School placement this year will not delay as compared to last year.
This follows a release by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) after releasing the provisional results of candidates who sat for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in 2022.
In their statement issued by WAEC on January 25 disclosed that results of all candidates will be sent to their respective schools through the Metropolitan/Municipal/District Directors of Education.
Reacting to this release on Oyerepa Breakfast Show on Thursday, Akwasi Kwarteng revealed that the delay in the release of school placement last year will not repeat itself. The placements would be done in February and all parents and guardians must prepare adequately enough before the placement is done.
“I can assure you that this year the schools placement will be done on time latest by February they should start preparing to go to school” he said .
He however urged candidates to access their results on the council’s website www.waecgh.org
