A hit-and-run driver killed a man in Koforidua, the Eastern regional capital.
The victim’s body was discovered in a pool of blood near S.D.A Training College School Park on Thursday morning, with bruises and a severe head injury.
Officers from the NADMO Municipal Secretariat, led by Municipal Director Mr. Herbert Danso, and personnel from the Municipal Police Command arrived on the scene to take inventories and transported the body to the Koforidua Regional Hospital.
However, NADMO officials say the person was mentally ill.
