A lot of controversial questions are been asked that the churches in Ghana should pay tax to the government so that the government can get enough funds to do more developmental projects.
This has led to many answers from various pastors across the length and breadth of the country bringing up their genuine concerns.
One of the famous men of God in Obuasi, Prophet Elisha Benjamin AnaneProphet Elisha Benjamin Anane (Prophetic IGP) has also shared his opinion on the subject.
According to him, the church is a none profitable entity or institution. The church is not responsible to assist government to provide infrastructures, such AS banks, hospitals, schools, provision of water etc
He argued that, the church pays school fees to the venerable in various communities so he doesn’t see why the church should pay taxes to the government.
Giving his prophecy for this year, Prophet Elisha Benjamin Anane said that there will be several cases of kidnapping in the country. He said parents must endeavour to protect their children. Ghanaians in general should rise and pray for the country.
