The National Best Radio and TV station of the year, Oyerepa TV and Radio under Promise Broadcasting Limited(PBL) has officially launched its five-year anniversary celebration in Kumasi to honor the station’s accomplishments over the years.
In February 2023, the well-known Kumasi-based media house will commemorate five years in the media space.
On Thursday, December 22, 2022, the upcoming great event was formally launched at the station’s premises.
Present at the launch were dignitaries such as; Kumasi Mayor, Samuel Pyne, Nkwantakesehene (Nana Boakye Yam II), Bohyen Hemaa (Nana Owusuaa Mprengo II), Anyaa Hemaa (Ohemaa Abena Tipa), Mr & Mrs. Agyemang (Oyerepa TV CEOs), Management and staff of Oyerepa and a couple of the station’s main sponsors.
Speaking at the event, the Mayor of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), Mr. Samuel Pyne lauded the station for its tremendous efforts in impacting the lives of vulnerable Ghanaians.
“I have seen your good works….. I pray to God to give the station long life.” He said.
Mr. Emmanuel Agyemang, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Oyerepa TV/FM delivering his speech indicated that he established the station in order to assist the poor in Ghanaian society.
“My main aim for building Oyerepa FM was to use the medium to help the vulnerable Ghanaian” Mr. Agyemang said.
He, however, expressed much gratitude to the management and the entire workers of the station for their dedication and unflinching support.
“It’s God who has brought us this far.” He added.
Oyerepa FM Establishment and success achieved
Oyerepa FM was established on February 4th, 2018.
Its primary goal is to assist the most vulnerable Ghanaians while also advancing the genuine message of Jesus Christ throughout the world.
The station has received 10 major National Communication Awards awards.
Currently, it’s Ghana’s top radio and television station.
Its indoor and outdoor shows have had a positive social, economic, and religious impact on the daily lives of many Ghanaians.
