The Fontomfrom Amandze Awards Scheme has honoured the chief of Esiama in the Ellembelle District of the Western Region, Nana Ainoo Kwagya III
The Esiama chief was awarded last Saturday, November 26 for great leadership as well as projecting culture and facilitating the development of his community.
The award dubbed; ‘Dedicated Leader, Projecting Culture and Development was aimed at encouraging Nana Ainoo Kwagya III to continue with his tremendous contribution to the development of Ellembele and Ghana in general.
Receiving the great honour, the Esiama Chief, Nana Ainoo Kwagya III eulogised the organisers of the awards for bestowing him with such a great honour.
He also dedicated the award to the paramount chief of Ellembelle and the indigenes of Esiama.
According to him, it’s high time the people of Ghana played their quota to the development of the nation because the government alone cannot do it all.
“Let’s all do our part for the development of our communities and Ghana as a whole because the government alone can’t do it.”
He added that “Ghana can’t develop without peace” therefore all citizens must endeavour to ascertain peace and harmony in their various communities.
