A suspected thief in his early thirties, known only as Yahaya, was lynched at Jukwa Abrafo/ Odumase in the Heman Lower Denkyira District of Ghana’s Central Region.
Yahaya, the purported thief, was accused of stealing a gallon of palm oil from a woman. As a result, the mob that caught him beat him ruthlessly.
In a social media video, the claimed thief, Yahaya, is stripped naked and tied to a pole, while people around him flog him here and there, Yahaya stated, “I’m not a thief”, and he stated it repeatedly.

According to reports, the mob caned him until he died.
Meanwhile, Jukwa police have apprehended about 15 people in connection with the instant justice.
According to details, several other perpetrators have escaped arrest, but Jukwa police are looking for them for justice.
