Financial analyst, Clement Kyeremateng stated his lack of confidence in the ad hoc committee in parliament handling the motion of censure.
The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, referred a vote of censure motion filed by the minority cause in Parliament for the removal of Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, to an 8-member ad hoc committee
The committee is expected to make a determination on the removal of Ofori-Atta within 7 days.
Speaking with Kwesi Parker Wilson on Oyerepa Breakfast Time, the financial analyst said that nothing good would come out of the committee.
The good will not come from the majority, but from the minority. the position of the minority that will prevail because they will definitely vote against the committee’s report
Mr. Kyeremateng however, disagreed with speculations that the ad hoc committee is illegal. He says that the Speaker of Parliament is allowed by the Constitution to exercise some prerogatives.
