A teacher and philanthropist, Madina Adutwunwaa Asare well known as Teacher Ewuraama on Monday,10th October donated school uniforms, learning materials and other things to Agorta D/A Primary School in the Volta Region.
The move forms part of Teacher Ewuraama’s vision to improve the standards of education in Ghana.
She donated School uniforms 50 pieces, Sneakers 150, Exercise books 100, Pencils 50, Pens 50, Belts 25, Socks 50 and soft drinks.
According to her, a friend notified her that, pupils of the school needed aid to facilitate their education. She subsequently made enquiries and decided to give a helping hand.
Speaking to Oyerepa online, she said, “I feel sad whenever I see pupils in crisis. When I see pupils like that, it touches my heart to do help them.”
Teacher Ewuraama emphasized the need for Ghanaians to give assistance to the less privileged schools in the country.
“I want to plead with the youth to help the less privileged schools in their societies. Don’t wait to get money in abundance, the little that you have can solve someone’s problem. She entreated.
