Former Ghana Football Association president ,Kwesi Nyantakyi has added his voice on whether or not Otto Addo is the best candidate to lead the blackstars in the forthcoming World cup to be staged in Qatar.
According to the former Ghana Football Association gaffer, Otto Addo should be firm in his decisions and employ professional judgements in decision making regarding the blackstars coaching job.
Speaking to KingsTvGh’s King Halid, he stated, “Otto Addo should be man of his own and should not base his decisions merely on opinions of others.
It is the believe we have in him that is why we have entrusted the team into his care,
“You can neither tell your lawyer to ask certain questions for you at the law court nor prescribe a medicine for your doctor to be given to you when you are ill”.
“He will have no reason to remain at post when he allows to be dictated to”.
According to Nyantakyi, We should support Otto Addo if we have the believe he is going to excel in the Worldcup but show him the exit when he is going to be allowed to be dictated to.
Otto Addo has come under intense backlash following Ghana’s uninspiring performance against Brazil and Nicaragua ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
With only 46 days to the World Cup, Ghanaians have divergent opinions as to who to take the Ghana blackstars to the football Mundial. Whilst section of Ghanaian football fans are rooting for Chris Hughton, others have kept faith in the Borussia Dortmund’s trainer who qualified the team to its fourth Worldcup.
