Social Commentator, Mr Kwabena Osei Bonsu aka OB has chastised the leading members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Ashanti Region.
According to him, the NPP leaders in the region are only interested in following the party than fighting for developmental projects.
Speaking on Oyerepa Breakfast Time, OB stated emphatically that, the Ashanti NPP leadership love the party more than the region which fetches them votes.
“NPP leadership in Ashanti don’t think about the region, they rather think about the party. They love the party more than the region.” He enunciated.
The Ashanti Region has 42 Members of Parliament (MPs) and a number of them hold ministerial positions under President Akufo-Addo’s regime but OB believes that they are not doing enough for the growth of the region. Regardless, “they will come after you if you talk about NPP.”
He said the Ashanti NPP leadership should understand that they have the power to request for massive developmental projects since the region fetches the party massive votes.
