Residents of Agric Kromoase in the Kwadaso Municipality woke up to a shocking scene as a lifeless body of a day old baby with her umbilical cord on was found dumped in a gutter at their area.
The sad incident happened on Monday morning.-
According to an eyewitness, Madam Janet Bima, she woke up in the morning and saw a strange object in the gutter which was later identified as a dead baby.
“I went to throw away water in the gutter. I spotted an object which looked like a baby but I was not sure of myself so I called a friend to come. We later found out that it was a dead body of a day old baby with her umbilical cord uncut.” She narrated.
The Assembly Member for the Agric Kromoase Electoral Area , Hon Emmanuel Amissah too confirmed the incident to Oyerepa News.
