The Aduana Royal Family of Bibiani has refuted claims by the President of the National House of Chiefs, Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi Il, that the Aduana Royal Family of Bibiani has presented a candidate to him as the Krontihene of the Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Area in the person of Charles Kwabena Frimpong (Nana Anarfi Ababio Il).
According to the kingmakers, the Sefwi Anhwiaso Paramount Chief, Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi’s assertions are completely deceptive, erroneous, fraudulent, malicious and contemptuous and should be disregarded.
In a press statement available to this portal signed by Nana Kwaku Nkrumah (Abusua Panin of Aduana Royal Family of Bibiani) the kingmakers said, they have enstooled Nana Ngoah Anyimah Kodom as the legitimate and Gazetted Chief of Bibiani. Therefore they will oppose any other person than the Nana Ngoah Anyimah Kodom.

PRESS STATEMENT BY THE ABUSUAPANIN AND KINGMAKERS OF THE ADUANA ROYAL STOOL OF BIBIANI TO REFUTE FALSE CLAIMS BY NANA OGYEAHOHO YAW GYEBI 11 PRESIDENT OF THE NATIONAL HOUSE OF CHIEFS DATED 21 st OF AUGUST 2022
The Aduana Royal Family of Bibiani has decided to set the records straight today with regards to an assertion made by the President of the National House of Chiefs, Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi Il, that the Aduana Royal Family of Bibiani has presented a candidate to him as the Krontihene of the Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Area in the person of Charles Kwabena Frimpong (Nana Anarfi Ababio Il)
These statements made by Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi Il on many platforms are completely deceptive, erroneous, fraudulent, malicious and contemptuous.
The fact is, a well-calculated Kangaroo court Judgment was pronounced against our legitimate occupants of the Aduana Royal Stool of Bibiani who is Nana Ngoah Anyimah Kodom Il by the Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Council which Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi was the President on 9th September 1999.
It is worth mentioning that, the said Judgment was apparently reversed on appeal by the Judicial Committee of the Western Regional House of Chiefs on the 3rd day of August 2004.
Please attached is an Extract of the said Judgement of the Judicial Committee of the Western Regional House of Chiefs marked as Annexure ‘A’. It is conspicuous to note that no appeal was made against the Judgement of the Judicial Committee of the Western Regional House of Chiefs till today.
Indeed, with all these facts on the ground, Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi Il who is the Omanhene of Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Area in a series of interviews to Radio and Television Stations claim always that the Aduana Royal Family has introduced or presented a candidate to him as Krontihene of the Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Area.
Furthermore, we the Kingmakers and the entire Aduana Family Members of Bibiani condemn and deny the affidavit exhibited and filed by the self-styled Chief Charles Kwabena Frimpong (Nana Anarfi Ababio Il) dated 12th September, 2012 at the Registry ofthe Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Council as the Krontihene for your kind perusal and marked Annexure ‘B’ contradicting himself at paragraph 4 as follows “I was customarily selected, nominated and enstooled in 1998 having gone through all the required customary and legal process”
This suggests that the said Charles Kwabena Frimpong (Nana Anarfi Ababio Il) was made chief even before the so-called judgment of the Kangaroo Trial by Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Councils Judicial Committee on the 9th September 1999.
It is important to state that, we the Kingmakers, the Abusuapanin and the entire Principal Elders of the Aduana Royal Family of Bibiani vehemently oppose to the said deceptive, erroneous and malicious comments by Qgyeahoho Yaw Gyebi Il and seriously Caution Oyeahoho Yaw Gyebi Il to refrain from throwing dust into the eyes of the Good Citizens of Bibiani in particular, all Ghanaians and the Whole World at large.

Members of the Aduana Royal Family of Bibiani categorically want to Serve Notice and Notice is hereby served on all the duty bearers especially, the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipal Assembly Security Council (MUSEC), the Police and other Security Agencies, Asanti Gold Company Limited and all Cooperate Entities and Churches that, there is no chieftaincy dispute before any Court of Competent Jurisdiction in Ghana whatsoever between our Legitimate Gazetted Chief of Bibiani who is Nana Ngoah Anyimah Kodom Il and anybody or institution.
It suffices to state on record that Nana Ngoah Anyimah Kodom Il has been the legitimate Gazetted Chief of Bibiani since 23 rd March 1992 when he was enstooled by the Kingmakers of the Aduana Royal Family of Bibiani and continues to remain the one and only legitimate Gazetted Chief and the Custodian of all the lands in Bibiani and should be recognised as such.
