At Sefwi Gyapongkrom, a rural town close to Juaboso in the Juaboso District of the Western North region, a man who is thought to be in his late 30s has severely slashed his fiancée with a cutlass.
Ama Kobiri, 30, is accused of being beaten by the suspect known only as Bawumia after an altercation.
According to reports, he cut her in their chamber before carrying her lifeless, bloodied body into a nearby bush.
The victim had severe cuts on her hands, neck, forehead, and other areas of her upper chest when she was found.
Ama Kobiri is in critical condition at the Juaboso Government Hospital.
Meanwhile, suspect Bawumia is still at large because the police have not been notified of the incident.
