The National Women’s Organiser of the governing New Patriotic Party, NPP, Kate Gyamfua has pleaded with Ghanaians over the current economic hardship in the country.
Ghanaians have been lamenting the high cost of living, and periodic hikes in fuel prices. Many have called on the government to put up measures to ease their burden.
Speaking on Oyerepa Breakfast Time, Kate Gyamfua admitted that indeed there’s hardship in the country.
She however begged Ghanaians and for that matter Ghanaians to sympathise with the economic challenges facing the NPP government.
According to her, the Akufo-Addo-led administration will bounce back to manage the country’s deteriorated economy therefore all Ghanaians should be calm.
“We accept the fact that there is hardship in the country, we agree that not all the things NPP has done are good.
But businessmen in the country whose businesses have collapsed should bear with us, we are pleading with them to sympathize and support NPP in this high time to help build Ghana again” Kate Gyamfua pleaded.
