Chief Executive Officer of Super LOVEK phones in Kumasi, Mr Amponsah Kakari has donated six GHc6,000 and mobile phones to three workers of Zoomlion Company Limited after the women stormed Oyerepa Fm studios to lament about their 8 months areas.
The workers of the waste management company, Zoomlion Ghana Limited in the Ashanti Region expressed their displeasure over the long delays in the payment of their salaries and threatened to evoke curses on management and authorities who have kept their salaries for the past 10 months.
These women in an interview with Nana Yaw Mensah Joel on the Oyerepa Morning Breakfast Show disclosed that they have not been paid their salaries for close to a year with some arrears still pending.
They, however, made a clarion call on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the appropriate authorities of the company to come out and tell them something by the end of this week else they will have no option but to lay down their tools.
The Super Lovek CEO after listening to the poor women gifted them money to be shared equally amongst the three women. He also topped it up with some souvenirs including school bags, umbrellas and other materials.
