The entire Adansi Obonsu community in the Adansi South District of Ashanti Region were, last Sunday, thrown into a state of shock when they woke up to discover that a 5-year old uncircumcised boy has been circumcised.
The boy was uncircumcised at the time he was going to bed on Saturday evening.
The shocking aspect of it was that the wound of the circumcision had been healed overnight.
Oyerepa FM reporter, Benjamin Anderson narrating the incident said, the poor boy’s parents had divorced the child. The man had argued that he was not the father of the kid.
Ever since the child has not been in good health and that has affected his growth. “As of now, the 5-year-old boy looks like a one-year-old baby.”
He said, the mother of the kid Salomay Botchey is unable to feed the boy daily due to her financial constraints.
As a result, the boy feeds on his own defecate and that has also left him with other diseases.
The reporter unveiled further that, the boy was taken to Prophetess Maame Martha, of Christ Faith Church, where she proclaimed that, since the mother does not feed the kid, bad spirits have taken dominion over him. The spirits give him food daily.
She confirmed that the spirits have circumcised the poor boy and they will take him away soon.
The boy’s mother Salomay Botchey and his uncle, Kwame Ansah confirmed this shocking incident to Oyerepa FM’s Benjamin Anderson.
