Social media users have expressed dissatisfaction over how the General Manager of VIP Jeoun Transport Company Limited, Adakabre Frimpong Manso has defended a driver who allegedly slept with a young lady on a bus in Accra.
The young lady, named Abena Abigail appeared on Oyerepa Afutuo last week, 13th April 2022 and claimed that a VIP driver named Owusu has ch0pped her on a bus. The lady said the driver had earlier promised to rent a room for her, as well as assist her to learn dressmaking. However, VIP driver, Owusu after making love to her has apparently snubbed her, therefore, she seeking compensation.
Some days after, the show, VIP jeoun Transport released a statement and said, the transport company found the interview offensive because their brand was attached to the sex scandal.

The VIP management explained that the said act in the bus never happened, therefore were going to report Oyerepa FM to the National Media Commission to cancel the award-winning Oyerepa Afutuo show as well as shut down the station.
Appearing on the show on Tuesday, 19th April 2022, the VIP Boss Adakabre Frimpong Manso, and the driver, Owusu insisted that, the driver never slept with the young lady on the bus.
Adakabre said, “there’s no space in the bus where one can put a mattress and sleep on.”
The statement of the VIP boss, however, aggravated netizens, particularly Facebook users to react to his assertion.
They trolled the VIP boss claiming that, “Adakabre God will punish you..you’re not a good person”, “Adakabre this is below the belt am so disappointed in you sir”, “Adalabre imagine the girl is your family member”, “Adakabre today paa de3 am just so disappointed in you” ….. and many more comments.
