President of the Ghana Football Association, GFA, Kurt Edwin Simon Okraku, has described Nigeria as ‘little babies’ heading into the epic clash coming up this Friday.

The Black Stars of Ghana will host their bitter rivals, Nigeria in a two-legged game in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

This has left both countries in serious preparations as they all set sights on grabbing the bragging rights and most importantly the ticket to Qatar later this year.

The GFA boss, Kurt Okraku prior to the game, has urged all Ghanaians to rally behind the Stars since they will need their unflinching support to accomplish their task.

He also described the Super Eagles as babies and is very confident of a victory after the playoff.

“It’s that time of the year where every Ghanaian will have to stand up and be counted. It’s that time of the year where our country’s pride is at stake.”

“It’s that time of the year where Ghana must be at the Mundial, but before we do that, we have a common foe, the Super Eagles of Nigeria. They come across as our little babies, but they pretend to be the big boys.” The GFA president stated on Joy Sports.

Ghana will host Nigeria in the first leg at 19:30GMT this Friday at the Kumasi Baba Yara Stadium.

Meanwhile, the Super Eagles have landed in Kumasi, ahead of the big clash.
