Ghana National Team, Black Stars’ opponents in the World Cup qualifiers, Nigeria National Team, the Super Eagles have finally landed safely in Kumasi, for the big clash on Friday night.
The team left Lagos in the early hours of today with 25 players and some other team officials to fly straight to the Kumasi Airport with a chartered flight.
The Super Eagles after their safe arrival will be heading straight to the Golden Tulip Hotel which will be their base during their two day stay in Ghana.
Coach Austin Eguavoen and his squad are expected to hold their training under the floodlights this evening at the match venue in order to mainly acclimatize to the nature of the pitch before the game day.
The first leg is scheduled for Friday, March 25, 2022, at the Baba Yara Stadium at 7: 30 PM.
The famous Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja will host the return encounter on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.
The winner of this round will move up to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, this year.
