A former Unit Committee Chairman of Wawase, Padmore Lemawu in an interview with Oyerepa online said, and the school now has only two teachers who are paid by the community.
He said, trained teachers have consistently refused posting to the town. Therefore, the community has engaged the services of two Pupil teachers.

He has called on the Communication Minister to lobby via the Ministry of Education in order to post trained teachers to the Wawase basic school.
