Ghanaian marriage counsellor, Mrs. Grace Afuah Nsaidoo has cautioned Ghanaians to be very careful about social media marriage because there is a high possibility that it will collapse.
According to her, most social media marriage do not last because couples are unable to get ample time to study each other well before getting married.
” Marriage via social media will not last. You will not get the opportunity to study the character and behavior of your partner on social media. But our 21st century youth are only interested in these marriages. You should be very careful because we always get deceived on social media. Marriage is a process, let us all understand and follow it”. She stated on Oyerepa Breakfast Time, Friday.
The counsellor advised Ghanaians to keep their marriage away from social media because it doesn’t add any value to it.
” Social media does not add any value to our marriage. Let us try to keep our marriages away from it because that will be the only way to sustain our marriage”. she concluded.
