The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Atwima Nwabiagya North in the Ashanti Region, Mrs. Rebecca Yeboah, has said she is working assiduously to left her district to a municipal status by the year 2024.
Speaking at an emergency Assembly meeting held at Barekese to elect a Presiding Member for the Assembly, the DCE said; “We are working very hard to raise Atwima Nwabiagya North to a municipal status. I’m very optimistic that by the end of 2024, the Assembly would obtain Municipal status.”
Mrs. Rebecca Yeboah, believes, if her dream comes through, it will accelerate the development of Atwima Nwabiagya North.
She therefore urged Assembly Members in the district to support her to achieve her vision.
