Some polling station executives and electoral area coordinators of the ruling NPP in the Bantama constituency of Ashanti region have called for the immediate arrest of the current Bantama constituency executives of the party.
According to them the New Party Party’s (NPP) executives in the Bantama constituency led by Mr. Fiifi Mensah have disrespected the orders of Kumasi High Court.
Addressing the media at a presser, the Assembly member for Ohwim-Amanfrom electoral area, who doubles as an electoral area coordinator in the Bantama constituency, Erastus Ebo Boison said the Kumasi high court has placed an injunction on the ongoing polling station executives’ elections in the Bantama constituency due to unfairness. However, the party’s executives in constituency have proceeded to hold the election in fragrant disregard for the court’s decision.
For this reason, the Kumasi High Court must act as soon as possible to apprehend Fiifi Mensah and his team.
The Ohwim-Amanfrom Assembly member maintained that, the attitude of current executives of the NPP if not addressed will go against the party’s quest of breaking the eight.
