Bullgod, manager of Ghanaian dancehall musician Shatta Wale, has chastised artistes who take little money for shows.
According to him, such musicians are selfish and needs to be cursed and condemned for charging low.
Speaking on a national TV, the artiste manager born Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson said:
“Any artiste who charges low wages for performances is selfish and will be punished by God”, he said in Twi. “You work with a team of four or five who are all depending on you. So if you go and take that two thousand, how much will you take and how much are you going to give to your people?”
Bullgod however entreated gospel artistes to take a lot of money for their performances. He encouraged them not to disregard their craft since it is a good course to undertake.
