The Member of Parliament (MP) for Odotobiri constituency in the Amansie Central District of the Ashanti Region, Mr. Emmanuel Akwasi Gyamfi has declared the stand of the New Patriotic Party, NPP in the upcoming 2024 elections.
According to him, the party could lose the polls because it is not strong enough unlike his other colleagues think.
Speaking on Oyerepa Breakfast Time Monday with host BB, the lawmaker said, NPP is weak and if the party does not change its ways, to win the impending elections will be extremely cumbersome.
“It takes a strong party to win elections but I think the state of the NPP is very weak. If the party does not change its ways of working, then, I don’t think we will win 2024 elections”. Mr. Gyamfi revealed.
He said, two key factors the party must consider in order to win 2024 polls are the poor state of our roads and the high rate of youth unemployment in the society. If these challenges are fixed before 2024, the victory for NPP is guaranteed but if they failed to solve those issues, they should forget about victory.
“The party has to work hard on our roads and the high rate of unemployment in the society with the necessary resources available because these are two superior factors to consider if we want to win 2024 elections.”
