Member of Parliament, MP, for Asawase Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Alhaji Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka has emphatically stated that, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will shock party in government, the New Patriotic Party, NPP, in 2024 general elections.
Speaking at the 30th Anniversary celebration of the NDC in the Ashanti Region, the Minority Chief Whip stated that, his party will definitely win the 2024 Ghana’s general polls.
“We will shock NPP in 2024 elections. NPP will get the shock of their life.” Muntaka stated.
According to him the NDC is putting in place significant measures to win the 2024 polls.
Muntaka said, the NDC will monitor the elections at all fronts in order to prevent the NPP from rigging the polls.
He indicated that, “the 2024 election is not for sale, it’s not for grabs. If they (NPP) think they can steal in this election, they are joking, they should forget it.”
He however advised party members to refrain from the habit of tribalism. The moment they engage in tribalism the party will collapse.
“In NDC we dont talk about tribes, we talk about NDC, No tribalism. Because the moment we bring in tribalism it means the party is about to fall down,” he stated.
The Asawase lawmaker however entreated members of the NDC to whole heartedly work hard and support the party to win the 2024 general polls to save Ghanaians from the extreme hardship under Akufo-Addo’s bad governance.
