Flagbearer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Kwabena Agyei Agyepong has said, Ghana is yet to experience a time for a new dawn and a new direction.
Speaking on Oyerepa Breakfast Show, hosted by Nana Yaw Mensah Joel, the NPP Former General secretary explained that he is with all humility ready and determined to bring a new direction for the betterment of Ghana.
According to Mr Agyepong, he is the kind of person Ghana needs now haven served the NPP party in all capacities with great sacrifices and commitment.
“Ghana needs someone like me, we need people with this kind of heart to help bring new hope to Ghanaians and also to encourage our youth in politics that there are still better things to come,” he stated.
The flagbearer hopeful, added that he has always believed in three things in all his life and that is service, sacrifice and selflessness.
“That mental fortitude has energized me to always work assiduously for the party ….my life is not defined by the position I occupy,” he counted.
As a result, he has pleaded with NPP delegates and all Ghanaians particularly the youth not to lose hope for there is coming a new dawn and direction for Ghana and the time is now .
Mr Kwabena Agyei Agyepong has served and played several roles in the NPP as the press secretary to John Kufuor from 2001 to 2006.
He also made a mark during times of Presidential Candidates Albert Adu Boahen in 1992, and John Kufuor in 1996. He also played a role in Nana Akufo-Addo’s campaign in 2016.
