Speaking at APC Manifesto launch at UPSA, Dr Hassan Ayariga announced a bold plan to ban all mining activities in Ghana, including large-scale, small-scale mining, and galamsey, citing concerns over environmental degradation and revenue loss.
The party leader emphasized that no concessions will be granted to foreign companies, and all drilling operations and oil exploration will be halted until a thorough audit of the mining sector is conducted.
