Johnson Asiedu Nketia, Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has declared that the party’s demonstrations against the Electoral Commission (EC) are necessary to prevent war in Ghana.
This stance underscores the NDC’s deep concerns about the EC’s handling of the electoral process.
Addressing protestors of the “Enough is Enough” demonstration on Tuesday morning in Accra, Asiedu Nketia indicated that the NDC’s fight against the EC is a preemptive measure to ensure the integrity of Ghana’s democracy.
2He emphasized that the party will continue to demonstrate until the EC addresses the issues plaguing the electoral system for a free and fair election.
