Apostle Kadmiel E.H. Agbalenyoh, founder and leader of the Seventh Day Theocratic World Congregation, has sounded a warning to politicians and religious leaders, emphasizing the importance of unity and prayer in the upcoming 2024 Ghanaian general elections.
He cautioned politicians not to divide the country in their quest for power, instead prioritizing Ghana’s well-being above all else.
Apostle Agbalenyoh also addressed religious leaders, advising them to refrain from making divisive prophecies about the election’s outcome, specifically naming the National Democratic Congress (NDC) or New Patriotic Party (NPP) as winners. Instead, he encouraged them to pray for the nation’s peace and prosperity.
Additionally, he expressed concern over the large number of political parties participating in this year’s election, citing Ghana’s relatively small size. To him, the presence of 12 parties on the ballot suggests that these groups are more interested in occupying the Jubilee House than serving the nation.
Apostle Kadmiel made a heartfelt appeal to Ghanaians at the “Remember Ghana Our Motherland” forum at Girl Guides Centre in Accra, urging them to foster love, peace, harmonious living, mutual tolerance, and sustainable development in the lead-up to and aftermath of the 2024 general elections.
He emphasized that Ghana’s unity is paramount, stating, “We cannot go to Togo, Burkina Faso, or Côte d’Ivoire; Ghana is the only country we have.” He encouraged citizens to shun activities that may disrupt the peaceful conduct of the elections.
Apostle Kadmiel urged Ghana’s youth to prioritize peace and unity, emphasizing that the country’s future is in their hands. He cautioned them against being exploited by politicians, who might try to manipulate them with promises of financial gain, especially during difficult times. Stressed that Ghana belongs to its youth, and it’s crucial for them to maintain peace and stability.
